Collins, Rachel L.

COLLINS – Our precious gift from God, Rachel Lael Collins was born into the arms of Jesus on February 27, 2010.  She will be dearly missed by her loving parents, Jeff and Sara; her sister, Kayla and brother, Tyler; grandparents, Thomas and Linda Collins, Peter and Mary DeWys; great grandfather, Larry Madsen; aunts and uncles, Troy (Heather) Collins, Carol (Jim) Devries, Mark (Ellen) DeWys; her cousins, Carleigh, Chandler and Clayton Collins, Brandon, Megan, Austin and Madelyn DeVries.  Services for Rachel will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 5, 2010 at Beckwith Hills Christian Reformed Church, 2100 Chelsea NE, with Pastor Rick Pinckney officiating.  Her family will greet relatives and friends Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE.  Private family interment will be at Washington Park Cemetery.  Memorial contributions in memory of Rachel can be made to Right to Life of Michigan.  Words of comfort and condolences to Jeff and Sara may be shared at www.stegengafuneralchapel.com

    So sorry to hear about your loss. I was not aware that you were preparing for such a heart-breaking event. The joy of finding out about an expected child, then to realize you will never know this daughter has to be devastating. All the best to you and your family.
